Chocolate Labrador timeline drawing.
Look at the various stages I go through to create this drawing, again like
most of my colour portraits, I use Prismacolor pencils and blenders.
Start the drawing.
With the outline carefully mapped in, I then go on to creating the various layers
needed to achieve the quality finish I’m known for.
The second part of this Chocolate Labrador timeline drawing will be building up the
multiple layers. The best way to do this with these style pencils is start with
the darker colours. It just doesn’t seem to work as well doing it the other way
around. The third step is I start to blend, I use a special blending tool of the same brand.
Finishing up.
The final stage will be going back over it all again, once that initial base
colour is in. The final pass will give me the fur effect I’m looking for. I will then finish off the acrylic
highlights with a brush to get intricate detail into the areas that need it.
This Chocolate Labrador timeline drawing was such a pleasure to work on. I just love to draw pets.
With this in mind, please take a look in my hand drawn pet portraits page for different examples.
Please look at my prices, these are reflect the time they take to create and the quality of the work.
You will see hundreds of reviews here..
I look forward to working with you soon on the commission of you pet or loved
one.
