Welsh‑type pony using Derwent Lightfast

I created this detailed coloured pencil portrait of a roan Welsh‑type pony using Derwent Lightfast and Prismacolor pencils on white Stonehenge paper. The piece focuses on the pony’s expressive eyes, textured winter coat, and natural cob features, showcasing the realism and fine detail I bring to each custom horse portrait commission.

Absolutely amazing. Very talented. I came across his work and was blown away. I decided to get a portrait of my older horse, thankfully I did as he sadly passed away very recently and now I have a lovely drawing of him, to cherish the memories. I couldn’t recommend Bobby's work more !! Highly recommend !
