Cocker Spaniel Portrait

One of the most captivating aspects of this Cocker Spaniel portrait is the meticulous detail in the Cocker Spaniel’s hair. Each strand was carefully rendered to capture the breed’s characteristic silky, flowing coat. The oil-based colour pencils allowed for a rich, vibrant palette, bringing out the subtle variations in the fur’s colour and texture. The soft, yet resilient nature of the Stonehenge paper provided the perfect surface to achieve these intricate details, ensuring that every stroke contributed to the lifelike quality of the Cocker Spaniel portrait.
