Full professional framing service.

  Backboard:
All backboards are cut to size and ordered bespoke per customer, ensuring a perfect fit for your artwork.

  1. Polyester Moisture Barrier:
    • This layer protects your artwork from moisture, ensuring longevity and preservation.
  2. Barrier Board:
    • The art will sit on this board, providing a stable base.
  3. T-Hinging the Art:
    • Your artwork will be T-hinged to the barrier board for secure placement.
  4. Window Mount:
    • I use 2.2mm conservation mounts as standard, to add depth and enhance the presentation of your artwork.
  5. Acrylic Glazing:
    • I use 2mm acrylic glazing as standard, providing clear protection without the risk of shattering.
  6. Frame Sealing Tape:
    • An aluminium barrier tape is used to seal the frame, ensuring a tight fit and extra protection.
  7. Assembly:
    • All the layers are carefully assembled into the frame.
  8. Final Sealing:
    • The frame is sealed with framer’s gum tape for a professional finish.
  9. Fixtures and Fittings:
    • The frame comes with all necessary fixtures and fittings, ready for you to hang.
  10. Protection and Shipping:
    • Finally, the portrait is protected and boxed, ready for safe shipping to your address.
