I have made a short video to show the various stages of the drawing. In this cat portrait timeline video, you will see the various stages to this process. From the coloured pencils to the acrylic overlay.

In my colour portraits I will generally use an oil-based pencil, coupled with a blender. This will give it a less sketchy look and allow me to create more detail and a better finish. Which is ultimately what I will be looking for, I will often complete the portrait with acrylic highlights to a really finish the piece off. However, I will go through how your piece will be done in the rundown of the order or when discussed via email
